In June Kirsty took a small team to L’arche’s 40th British and 50th International Anniversary in Canterbury. L’Arche is an international movement which builds faith based communities, with people with learning disabilities, all over the world. We partnered with Tom from Psalm Drummers and led an hour workshop on percussion and movement, using instruments, staffs and materials. Following a lively and joyful workshop working together, we made our way to Canterbury Cathedral and processed through the West Door, down the aisle into the Nave. We celebrated with an explosion of colour and the rhythm of drums!
