Eleven people formed the MIW team for CLAN Gathering Bible Week this year in Ayrshire, Scotland (also the eleventh year we’ve been taking a team to CLAN!) and despite the heavy rain, we cleaned the mud off the dance floor and took part in all the main meetings.
Several speakers referred to the passion and vibrancy of the dance as well as to the worship band…. most of our team came from Scotland, but we were really grateful to have Tina Johnson and Shelley Dring with us again from the wider MIW Associates.
A highlight for us this year was the ‘Tabernacle’ – a tent provided by CLAN for Blue Flame, Wellsprings and Dawnbird to provide some continuous worship from 12.30-5.30pm each day (with a seminar slot in the middle) – so the MIW team decamped from the Main Tent into this space each day. As you can imagine, by the time the main evening meeting came around, we were all well in the groove…..!
