At the end of November Andy, Daniella, and Sherrelea travelled to Bicester to deliver MIW’s Moving with Banners Workshop at Emmanuel Church, Bicester.  This was the third Banners workshop in Autumn and part of the fulfilment of our sense to go to new places and spaces.  God has very clearly opened some new gates in which to share our creative style of worship.

Once again, feedback was so encouraging.  It never fails to be amazing to see how God touches lives when we give our all to him in worship, with testimonies of greater freedom, healing, and a desire for more.

Here’s what some of the participants said:

– Extremely good/ Great to see people healed + free to worship

– The Lord was definitely releasing people. It was wonderful.

– Extremely good “A blessing!!!!!” “I learned that even if my flag gets tangled it doesn’t matter. A knotted or tangled flag is as powerful as an unfurled one.

– “This has been life-changing. It has helped me come closer to God in worship + praise. Thank you so much.”

– My hope is that not only myself but our church and others in Oxfordshire will be built up in their creativity in worship

– It will enable us to reach out and teach others using movement and especially banners can bring us closer to God.

– I feel completely unlocked in my expression and freedom. Set free from performance and fear of how it looks. Focused on the delight of God “as he enjoys my personal expression of worship to him.
