Creative Movement workshop – St. Albans, UK

Justin Watkins is teaching the Movement in Worship workshop “Creative Movement”.

The uniqueness in which you have been created is a gift that you can give back to God in your worship.

This Worship is the foundation of all we do in Movement in Worship. In this workshop we will explore the use of the body as an instrument of worship, both individually and as a group. It aims to enable you to break out of the movement stereotypes that so often depict Christian dance. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.

Exercises enable you to discover and develop your Unique Movement Vocabulary. This is developed using Dynamic Mass Sculpture (DMS) to see a corporate expression emerge. DMS facilitates groups of people to move creatively together, demonstrating the unity we have in Christ. This often develops into intercessory and prophetic movement.
