Join us for our colourful and inspiring Banners workshop in Colchester (UK) and online

For many years we have taught this workshop around the world in person. Now, for the first time ever, we are bringing together both in person and online participants to share in this workshop. It is an new adventure, will you join us? Usually only available in person, this inspiring, hands-on, practical workshop explores the use of movement with banners (or flags) and other props as an expression of worship. This workshop outlines the biblical basis for the use of banners. It provides an opportunity to widen your understanding, and to become proficient, creative and confident in the use of banners and other props.

In person participants

You can join the workshop individually by attending in person in Colchester. Doors open at 12 noon for registration with the course commencing at 1pm. Bring a packed lunch and join us for an informal lunch while we complete our set up and registration of participants. The workshop will finish by 6pm.

Online participants

Please note that the content of this course is designed for groups. Ideally if you are joining us online you should plan to join as a group. This means finding two or more people to meet with you in your location and then join the workshop as a group via Zoom. You’ll need to find a space large enough to be able to move together with banners, so consider the height of the ceiling and the width/depth of the room. You will also need some banners and/or fabric that you can use, these can be any size and shape, you’ll need at least one per person.

Group pricing is just £75 for 3 or more participants because we really do want to encourage you to come as a group on Zoom rather than as individuals. This price gives you one Zoom participant’s panel.

We appreciate that you may not be in a situation where you have other movers who want to make a group with you. In this case, we would still love to welcome you, but please be aware that content in the second half of the programme is aimed at groups so you will be participating but not benefit from the opportunity to work as a group to create the full experience. Individual online participants have a discounted individual price to reflect the limitations of being without a group.

Online registration opens at 12.45pm (UK time zone), the workshop starts at 1pm and will finish by 6pm.

• Online group participants (3+ participants) @ £75 per group (all group participants must be in the same physical location)
